Sustainable packaging – Italtrike Bravo Box – awarded by CONAI for eco-design.
By the end of 2019, we introduced the ‘Italtrike Bravo Box‘ packaging system.
The – Bravo Box- project aims to optimise packaging both in terms of bulk, to facilitate transport, as well as removing the use of disposable plastic inside.
How was it possible?
– We have replaced plastic bags with recycled paper bags from responsibly managed suppliers, to which we have added a message informing customers about what we do and inviting them in turn to recycle the entire package correctly in paper.
– We have replaced the common PVC tape with a recycled paper tape, applied with a water-based glue.
We were recognised for the work done on the packaging of our toys by winning the ECOPACK 2022 award, CONAI’s call for eco-design.
For the action that reduced the environmental impact of packaging.
This award means a lot to us.
We are certainly not taking the easy way out and the financial commitment for certain decisions is not insignificant, but we are convinced that even the smallest step makes a difference.
And we choose a sustainable and responsible business model.
