Italtrike design toys meet twice in Milan: Homi and The Playful Living.

Last September, the design capital hosted Italtrike design toys at two events dedicated to contemporary living spaces: HOMI, Il Salone degli Stili di Vita and The Playful Home – La Casa del PresenteFuturo.

The common thread between the two events is creative experimentation and fusion. Furniture and complements are the architects of a new way of experiencing home, increasingly the focus of different aspects of daily life: work, school, fun. In this context, objects animating homes are more essential than ever. And so Italtrike design toys become an active part of this evolution. A transformation in which sustainability also plays a fundamental role and becomes an opportunity to find functional and appealing solutions which are above all environmentally friendly.

The new home living watchwords are therefore waste reduction, recycled and renewable materials, designed to last and forward-looking. Values which Italtrike has always upheld, and which inspire the creation of each new product. Like Ginetta and Roberto Liquid Wood, made of liquid wood. A new generation of high-quality engineered materials composed of lignin, cellulose, sugar, and fibres. The manufacturing process is the same as the technological ones used for common thermoplastics.

Or even La Cosa Pyjamas, the iconic ride-on built with 30% recycled polymers and a special felt lining from 2.3 recycled plastic bottles. This colourful, durable and GRS-certified felt is called Eurelle Pet. It is made by Bagagli wool mill, which is particularly sensitive to environmental and sustainability issues.
